Manchester - Donald A. Blaisdell, 87, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at his home.

Donald was born the son of the late Lloyd and Alice (Masters) Blaisdell on Friday, January 22, 1932, in Quarryville, PA. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1949 - 1952. Don was the post commander for Palmyra V.F.W. Post 6778, a member and past chief of the Manchester Fire Department, and a member of Turner Schrader Post 34 and the Shortsville Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, wood working, camping and reading.

Donald will be remembered by his wife of 41 years, Jean (LeRoy) Blaisdell; children, Lloyd Blaisdell, Kelvin Blaisdell, Jolyne (Michael) Siekierski, Scott (Pauline) DeCook, and Anthony Blaisdell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha (Ernest) Ruehle.

Donald was predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 1973.
