Shortsville - Glenn R. Johnson, 85 passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at F.F.Thompson Hospital.

Family will greet friends Thursday (July 18) at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 N. Main Street, Manchester from 5 - 7 PM. Glenn's memorial service will follow calling at 7 PM with Fr. Michael Costik officiating. Burial will be Friday (July 19) at 10 AM in St. Rose Cemetery, Shortsville.

Glenn was born the son of the late Glenn E. and Cornelia (Eberwein) Johnson on Friday, March 2, 1934, in Canandaigua, NY. He graduated from Shortsville High School. Glenn served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. He retired from Mobil Chemical in 1995. Glenn was a 63 year member of the Shortsville Fire Department.

Glenn will be remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Alberta; son, Robert (Kathy); daughter, Deborah (William) Heinzlmeir; grandchildren Brandon (Halie Adams) Johnson, Lindsay (Joe) Maslar and Laura Heinzlmeir; great-grandchildren Benjamin and Amelia Maslar; brother, David (Susan) Johnson.

Glenn was predeceased by his brother, Ken Johnson; sister, Rita Brocklebank
