Shortsville - Jon Russell Fair, 78 passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Jon's Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at United Methodist Church of Manchester, 12 State St, Manchester at 4 PM. Burial will be in the spring in Boughton Hill Cemetery

Jon was born the son of the late Russell and Florence Fair on Sunday, February 9, 1941 in Canandaigua, NY. He spent his life in the Shortsville area. From 1958 to 1964 he served his country in the US Navy. When Jon returned home he worked in the tool and die industry including, Kodak, Xerox and Hauser Manufacturer in Macedon. Jon was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Manchester.
Jon will be remembered by his wife of 31 years, Marilyn (Platts) Fair; sons, John (Brenda) Fair, Dwight (Susan) Fair, Joe Brownlee, Jeff (Karen) Brownlee and John "Chad" Brownlee; daughters, Christine Parker, Theresa Fair, Jennifer (Bill) Reynolds, Jane (Andrew) Whalen and Julie (Scott) Morgan; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Fair; sister, Nancy (Edward) Heise; several nieces and nephews.
Jon was predeceased by brothers Lyle and Jay Fair.
