"Aunt"
Manchester - Rose A. "Aunt" Hessney, 80 entered eternal rest on Monday, November 19, 2018, after a short illness at Clifton Springs Nursing Home.
Burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Shortsville, NY at the convenience of the family.
Rose was born the daughter of the late Jose and Angela (Anaia) Archuleta on Thursday, November 3, 1938, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was the owner of several race horses and was an active participant at the Finger Lakes Race Track. Rose was a member of HBPA. Although she and her husband never had children of their own, they were always helping children in need and often opened their home to them.
Rose will be remembered by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward A Hessney; nephew, who was more of a son to her, Angel (Sophia) Archuleta of Singapore; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; many many friends.
