Alice Maher

Shortsville - Alice Maher, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 22nd 2022, at her home.

Please join the family at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, for Alice's graveside service at Pioneers Cemetery, Dewey Road, Manchester, NY.

Alice was born the daughter of the late Donald Whittaker and Alice Schrader on Tuesday, November 2, 1948, in Clifton Springs, NY. She was raised in the area graduating from Red Jacket High School. Alice worked at Rochester Insulated Glass for twenty years when she retired. Once she retired, she spent most of her time traveling the country with her husband and spending time with family. Alice was a member of the Geneva Appleknockers Drum and Bugle Corp., where she met her husband of 53 years.

Alice will be remembered by her husband, Robert Maher; children, Robert II (Melissa) Maher and Kristie (Larry) Stone; grandchildren Lindsay, Jonathan, and Hannah; great-grandchildren Ellie, Landon, and Conner; brother, Thomas VanEtten; sister-in-law, Debbie Maher, as well as many nieces and nephews.
