Shortsville - Amanda Kay Hackett, 43, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. All other services will remain private.

Amanda was born the daughter LeRoy J. and Denise (Rodgers) Hackett on Tuesday, December 25, 1979, in Clifton Springs, NY. Her roots were firmly planted in the local community, and she considered Shortsville, Clifton Springs, and Phelps as her cherished hometowns. Amanda pursued her education at Red Jacket High School.

Devoting her professional life to making a positive impact, Amanda found fulfillment as a care coordinator at Finger Lakes DDSO. Known for her love and compassion, she was unwaveringly devoted to those she held dear. Amanda's heart found joy in the company of her son and family.

Amanda will be remembered by her son, Carlos A. Rodriguez, III; her mother, Denise (Chris) Johnston; a partner, Len Pavia; father of her son, Carlos A. Rodriguez, II; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
