David Kathke

Manchester - David Kathke, 77, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, F.F. Thompson Hospital.

All are invited to join the family at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. Dominic Church, 97 West Main Street, Shortsville, NY for David's memorial mass. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Howell St. Palmyra, NY.

David entered this world as the son of the late Herman and Louise (Gilbert) Kathke on Thursday, August 15, 1946, in Lockport, NY. Following his high school years, David pursued a career as a heavy equipment operator, with his most recent work being in Palmyra, NY. Beyond his professional endeavors, David found joy in the companionship of friends, indulging in camping trips, and immersing himself in reading, particularly literature related to motorcycles.

David will be remembered by his finance, Jacquelyn Thompson; his children, Tammy and Joanie Kathke, and Tina (Herb) Greene; many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; his sister, Diane (Andy) Geil of Myrtle Beach.

David was predeceased by his sister, Donna; and two brothers Gary and Ken.
