Manchester - David J. Maslanka, 77 passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

David Maslanka, born on August 18, 1946, in Syracuse, NY, was the son of the late Stanley J. and Gertrude (Young) Maslanka. Raised in the Syracuse area, he graduated from Onondaga High School in the class of 1964. Subsequently, he pursued his education at Utica College and Rochester Institute of Technology, obtaining a bachelor's degree in photography. Throughout his career, David served as a Project Manager/Estimator for construction companies in Syracuse and Florida until his retirement. His love for the outdoors was evident as he cherished spending time at their cottage in Black Lake, engaging in activities such as hiking, camping, boating, and fishing. Additionally, he found joy in winter sports, partaking in activities like snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

David will be remembered by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Norinne Maslanka; his sons Patrick Maslanka and Daniel (Rebecca) Maslanka; two grandsons and one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; other family and friends.
