Naples - David Charles Zona, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, after a brief illness.

Please join the family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Lodge on Main, 12 Canandaigua Street, Route 21, Shortsville, NY 14548 for David's celebration of life.

David was born the son of the late Saverio and Virginia (Record) Zona on Monday, August 1, 1949, in Canandaigua, NY. He grew up in the area and attended Red Jacket Central School. David was employed by the Naples Central School District as a bus driver and groundskeeper. David was a lifetime member of the NRA, an NRA-certified instructor, and a talented woodworker. David also enjoyed target shooting, hunting, and having coffee with his friends every morning.

David will be remembered by his daughters Kelly Coyne and Nicole M. (Paul) Coyne; grandchildren Shane P. Coyne, Kathryn E. Coyne, Meghan C. Coyne, Ryan P. (Alyssa) Coyne, Andrew G. Coyne and Zachary T. Coyne; and his beloved dog and faithful companion, Max.
