Deborah was born March 23, 1952, in Waterloo to the late Stanley Sr. and Della (Reynolds) Carr. Deb was a 1970 graduate of Lyons High School. Deb held a high value on education, and her dedication was very apparent in the continuing degrees she accomplished. She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. John Fisher in 1993, Masters of Science as a Clinical Nurse Specialist HIV/AIDS at Syracuse 1995, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at UNLV in 2007. She loved her time at Nazareth College as an Associate Nursing Professor.

Deborah was married to Richard Warner on May 25, 1985. They were married for 31 years before his passing. Deb had such a loving and compassionate heart for helping others. Despite her health struggles, she never focused on herself but always showed more concern for others and how they were doing. Her
cheerful and giving heart showed in many ways from being involved with church projects and helping others whenever she could. Deb loved quilting and watching Dirty Dancing a million times! She enjoyed spending time with her husband and watching the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, whom she held very close to her heart. She loved baking and cooking. She would often cook big meals for her family.

Deb will be remembered by her daughter, Patience (Shura) Nishikawa; grandchildren Alyssa, Phoenix and Damien; brothers Scott (Barb) Carr and Gary Carr; nieces McKenna, Lindsey and Barbie; nephew, Jayden; many extended family and close friends.

Deb was predeceased by her husband, Richard; daughter, Melanie Crowell; granddaughter, Crystal; brother, Stanley (Sandy) Carr Jr.; sister, Della Carr.
