Shortsville - Deborah L Rommel, 66, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.
The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. All other services will remain private.

Deborah was born the daughter of the late Donald and Georgina (Carpenter) Love on Tuesday, December 20, 1955, in Buffalo, NY. Her family often moved when she was young, They settled in the area, and she graduated from Bloomfield High School. Debbie became a Licensed Practical Nurse; however, she chose to stay home and raise her family. Debbie enjoyed camping with her family, sewing and quilting.

Deborah will be remembered by her husband of forty-seven years, Ronald Rommel; children, Christina (Charles) Dietz, Jeremy (Brittany Kommer) Rommel, David (Samantha Dennis) Rommel and Nicholette (Mark II) Stedge; grandchildren, Cody Barber and Matthew Rommel; great-grandchildren, Mark III, Corbin, Kourtney Marie, Xavier and Ezra Rose; sister, Betty (Bruce) Hansen; several nieces and nephews.
