Shortsville - Ethel M. Carr, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2024, at DeMay Living Center.

The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. All other services will remain private.

Ethel entered the world on Sunday, July 22, 1934, as the beloved daughter of the late John and Rosa Gregory in Rodman, NY, near Watertown. Growing up in Rodman, NY, she attended high school there. Ethel contributed her talents to Rochester Products in Rochester, NY, for eighteen dedicated years until her well-deserved retirement. Her passions included crocheting, savoring old country melodies, and indulging in coloring activities. Ethel's warmth extended beyond her immediate family; she orchestrated memorable holiday celebrations eagerly anticipated by her loved ones and extended family members.

Ethel will be remembered by her daughter, Penny (Coriey) Reynolds; her grandchildren, Dana (Daniel) Heusler, David (Lisa) Carr, Tiffany Lucas, Wyatt , River, and Taylar Reynolds; great-grandchildren Molly and Hannah Carr, Jordan and Ryan Leonard, Emma and Andrew Lucas, Ryleigh and Avery Heusler, Harmoney Reynolds, Joshua L.; a sister, Betty; and a daughter-in-law, Marie Carr; several nieces and nephews.

Ethel was predeceased by husband, Lawrence Carr; a daughter, Starr Bowling; a son, David Carr; and eleven of her siblings.
