Phelps - Gene Grubb, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, surrounded by family at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.

Gene was born on Wednesday, April 28, 1937, in Martinsville, IL. Gene grew up in Illinois and, after high school, served his country with the United States Marine Corp. After his honorable discharge in 1962, he moved to Rochester and began his career at Taylor Instruments as a printer. Gene enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.

Gene is predeceased by his parents Paul and Ruby Roberts; he will be remembered by his son, Robert A. Grubb; daughters Paula (Richard) Alger, Debra Hallstrom, and Michelle Reynolds; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and many friends.
