IRENE N. BARIGA

Irene Bariga passed away on November 21, 2021, after a two-year battle with cancer.

Irene was born on March 10, 1954, in Rochester, New York. She is survived by her loving partner of 41 years, Dawn Newvine.

She will be remembered always for her amiable, passionate, and charitable spirit that volunteered for programs that reached out and supported the aging and humane societies.

A native of Rochester, NY, Irene served a myriad of corporations and government agencies in Washington DC for 16 years in an Administrative Assistant and Data Production Specialist capacity before relocating back to New York in 1996. She then continued her career as an Office Specialist for the past 15 years with the Geneva City School District and Finger Lakes Community College.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for May 7, 2022, at a time and place to be announced.
