James O'Donnell
Manchester - James O'Donnell, 77, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Rochester General Hospital after a brief illness.
In accordance with Jim's wishes all services will be private.
Jim was born the son of the late Joseph T. and Marie Rose O'Donnell on Tuesday, November 24, 1942, in Hazelton, PA. He was a graduate of St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo, NY. Jim retired from EGG Wright Components in Phelps and later worked in the produce department at Canandaigua Wegmans He enjoyed horse racing and going to the casino. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, LA Dodgers, Montreal Canadiens and Duke University Basketball. Jim loved gardening and was famous for going for coffee every morning.
Jim will be remembered by his loving wife of 26 years, Eileen O'Donnell; daughters Ann Marie (Larry) Hadley and Mary O'Donnell; step-daughter, Joanne (Johnny) Allaway; grandchildren Devin Donaldson, Gabriel Hadley, Alycia McLaughlin and Samantha Sullivan; step-grandchildren Niki and Racquel Allaway; cousin, Eileen Alven; his beloved cat Sassy; and many, many dear friends.
