Jane Henry

Manchester - Jane Henry, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was born as the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Downey) McNally on Sunday, August 29, 1926, in Manchester, NY. Her roots firmly planted in the Manchester community, she graduated Manchester High School. Throughout her professional journey, Jane found her niche at Garlock, where she dedicated herself as a secretary until her well-deserved retirement. A steadfast woman of faith, Jane remained a devout member of St. Dominic Church throughout her life. Known for her warm companionship, Jane cherished the company of her dear friends. However, her true delight was her family, her face brightening with joy whenever they came to visit.

Jane will be fondly remembered by her children, Bill (JoAnn) Henry, Kathy (Dick) Smith, Patricia Pinkard and John Henry; her grandchildren Tricia (Randy), Michelle (Chris), Jody, BJ, Michael (Kristin), Kim, Rick (Jen), Melanie (Christian), Jeremy, Meredith (Marcus), McKenzie and Jared; her twenty-five great-grandchildren and two special great great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Fran McNally; many nieces and nephews.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, John "Scotchy" Henry in 1997; a grandson, Chad in 2023; her siblings, Margaret (Francis) Ryan and Jim McNally; her dear aunt, Helene Downey in 2006.

Please join the family at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Dominic Church, 97 West Main Street, Shortsville, NY for Jane's funeral mass. Burial will follow her funeral mass in St. Rose Cemetery.
