Joan Durante
Palmyra - Joan Durante, 75, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Clifton Springs Hospital.
In honor of Joan's wishes, her services will remain private. Burial in Pioneers Cemetery.

Joan was born the daughter of the late John and Doris (Mead) Babinec on Friday, January 17, 1947, in Oneonta, NY. She grew up in Oneonta, NY, graduating from Oneonta High School. Joan started her career working for Key Bank as a teller, went on to win numerous awards, and would retire after forty years as an Assistant VP. Joan enjoyed golfing, horse racing, and relaxing watching television. She loved her family; spending time with her grandchildren and great-nephews was her greatest joy.
Joan will be remembered by her son, Ryan (Erika) Durante; niece, Robin (Travis Gardner) Herron; grandchildren McKenna, Kiara, and Joshua Durante; great-nephews, Ryan Herron, Ryder Herron-Gardner, and Tyger Herron-Gardner; sister, Rita Herron.
The family would like to thank the outstanding Doctors and Nurses at Clifton Springs Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
