Shortsville - John McAllister, 69, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Following John's wishes, all services will be private.

John was born on Monday, October 6, 1952, in Rochester, NY. John grew up and spent his life in the area. John worked thirty-one years on dairy farms in the area. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and volunteered at Gleaners Community Kitchen and rang the bell for the Salvation Army. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

John will be remembered by his loving wife, Emily McAllister; step-sons Nathaniel Bishop, Andrew (Angela) Bishop, and Justin Bishop; daughter, Patricia Hope; many grandchildren.
