Linda C Whipple
Farmington - Linda C Whipple, 73, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family on August 1, 2022 at F. F. Thompson Hospital.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August, 9, 2022, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. All other services will remain private.
She retired from the Town of Farmington in July 2012 and previously worked for the Village of Shortsville. For many years she volunteered for Troop 39 for BSA and was a Girl Scout leader for Troop 1099, along with Manchester Shortsville Lions Club. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, ceramics, crafts, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her children Stacey Vanderwall (Ken), and Christopher Whipple (Rachel); three grandchildren, Makenzie, Elliott, Spencer; her great-granddaughter Oakley; a sister, Joanne Burley (David); along with several nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by parents John Cozan and Olyve Lyon.
