Manchester/Shortsville - Lois H. Janson, 71, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY. Lois' memorial service will follow visitation at 3 p.m.

Lois was born the daughter of the late George and Audrey (Helle) Henry on Tuesday, November 13, 1951, in Rochester, NY. She grew up in the Hilton area, graduating from Hilton High School. Lois graduated from FLCC and worked at Red Jacket School as a superintendent secretary until she retired. She was very social and enjoyed spending time with her friends from high school. Lois also enjoyed playing bells at church, puzzles, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Hallmark movies, shows at Del Lago, and pets. Most of all, Lois loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Lois will be remembered by her husband of fifty-two years, Skip Janson; son, Ryan (Jill Wheeler) Janson; grandchildren Domenic Janson and Rowan Janson; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was predeceased by her siblings Roger Henry and Gloria (John) Egan.
