Shortsville - Margaret L. Fine, 100, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Clifton Springs Hospital with family by her side.

The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. Margaret's memorial service will follow visitation at 3 p.m. Her burial will be in Pioneers Cemetery following her memorial service.

Margaret was born the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Gifford) Rockefeller on Tuesday, April 11, 1922, in East Durham, NY. After graduating high school, she attended nursing school in Binghamton, NY, and graduated as a Registered Nurse. Margaret worked for the Finger Lakes DDSO (formally Newark Developmental Center) in Newark for over twenty years when she retired. She was a dedicated volunteer at F.F. Thompson Hospital and received an award for the most hours volunteered. Family was her joy; she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Margaret will be remembered by her children Joyce Fine, William (Leslie Blake) Fine, Bruce (Sandy) Fine, Paul (Lisa) Fine and Charles Fine; grandchildren Julie, Mary, Eric, Mallory, Matthew, Mason, Chaz, and David; great-grandchildren Shane, Karah, Zach, Nolan, Maddie, Rachel, Jaina, Kayla, Lauren, and Greyson; and her nieces and nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Marvin in 1975; a grandchild, Raechel; her siblings Pauline, Irene and Raymond.
