Victor - Michael W. Datthyn, 65, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Please join the family at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at St. Dominic Church, 97 W. Main Street, Shortsville, NY, 14548, for Michael's memorial mass. Burial will follow his mass at St. Rose Cemetery.

Michael was born the son of the late William H. and Betty (Griffin) Datthyn on Friday, November 1, 1957, in Clifton Springs, NY. He grew up in the Shortsville area, graduating from Red Jacket High School. Michael worked for JFS Crutze for several years and A & G Meats for a little over a year before he retired. Mike was proud to serve Shortsville with the Citizens Hose Company for several years. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. Michael loved socializing with his friends and family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael will be remembered by his wife, Paula Datthyn; children Celeste (Joseph) Foster, Christopher (Maria) Datthyn; step-children Dr. John (Jade) Vullo, Martin (Cathy) Vullo and Christina (Adam Zeserman) Vullo; grandchildren Lilyann, Maddelyn, Grant, and Gavin Foster, Grace Datthyn, and James Vullo; siblings Kathryn (Lowell) Onderdonk and Charlene Janto; and his nieces.
