Macedon - Rina M. Derby, 54, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

The family will greet friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY. Rina's funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. Private burial in Branchport Cemetery.

Rina was born the daughter of David and Connie (Hibbard) Chappell on Wednesday, June 21, 1967, in Canandaigua, NY. Rina was raised in the Canandaigua area and graduated from Naples High School. Rina was a hard worker and liked to work where she could meet and be social with customers; from being a waitress at Polimeni's Restaurant in Canandaigua to working at Crandall's Auto with Michael. Rina enjoyed camping, their cottage in the mountains and living life.

Rina will be remembered by her loving boyfriend, Michael Crandall; children Jessica (Chris) Perkins of Tioga, ND, Anthony (Kelly) Derby of Laverne AL, David (Rachael) Derby of Rochester, NY and Sierra Derby of Concord, NC; father, Dave Chappell I of Bloomfield, NY; siblings David (Kate) Chappell II of Bloomfield, NY, Christine (Chris) Nudd of Clifton Springs, NY, Chrystal (Calvin) Chappell of Newark, NY and Robin (Dave) Smith of N. Cohocton, NY; grandchildren Jailynn and Audry Perkins; grandmother, Rina Chappell of Canandaigua, NY; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Rina is predeceased by her mother, Connie; sister, Candie Aikey; and grandparents, Earl Chappell, Carlton and Maxine Hibbard.
