Ruth M. Pulling

Shortsville - Ruth Pulling, passed away peacefully at Keuka Comfort Care surrounded by her family.

Ruth was born on November 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Willard and Sarah (Campbell) Brown in Canandaigua, NY. Ruth retired from the Ontario County Sheriff's Department after twenty years of service. Among the things Ruth enjoyed most were, spending time with her family and granddaughters, bird watching, and working in the garden. Ruth had an eye for anything decorating, including floral arranging and painting. She also enjoyed sending and receiving cards for any occasion and baking pies. Ruth enjoyed donating items and her time to the Historical Society and Morgan Horse Society.

Ruth will be remembered by her husband of sixty-five years, Joseph A. Pulling Jr.; son, Bill and daughter-in-law, Kris Pulling; daughter, Debbie Jo McPherson (Pulling); granddaughters Sara Pulling and Alison McPherson, whom she loved dearly; sisters Florence Adams, Lena Brown, Sue Brown, and Jen Thompson; twin brother, Robert "Butch" Brown, and brother, John "Jack" Brown; several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was predeceased by her brother, Willard Brown, and sisters Betty Fagner and Helen Sanzotta.
