Rochester - Shelley L. Whyte, 53, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Advent House in Fairport, NY.

The family will greet friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, NY 14504. Shelley's memorial service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shelley was born the daughter of Leslie A. and Sandra J. (Feeley) Whyte on Saturday, August 30, 1969, in Clifton Springs, NY. She grew up in the area, graduating from Midlakes High School class of 1987. Shelley worked for several school districts as a payroll specialist and, most recently, East Rochester School District for over twenty years. Shelley had a gorgeous personality and enjoyed being with friends and family. She loved gardening, especially with her grandson, Cooper, traveling, and listening to music.

Shelley will be remembered by her daughter, Sydney (Grant Withers) Grimsley; a grandchild, Cooper Withers; her mother, Sandra (Fran Snyder) Whyte; brother, Jeffrey (Michelle) Whyte; nieces Alaina and Morgan Whyte; a nephew, Nathan Whyte.

Shelley was predeceased by her father, Leslie Whyte.
