Teresa Lynn La Fountain
Shortsville - On April 1, 2020, Teresa suffered a major stroke, leaving her non-ambulatory. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter and two eldest grandchildren. On May 4, 2022, Teresa passed away quietly in her home in Shortsville, NY at the age of 63.
In honor of Teresa's wishes a memorial will be privately held at a later date.
Teresa was born in Bradford, PA in 1958, becoming the first daughter to her parents Faye and Gilbert. She became the oldest to her two sisters, Brenda and Kim and later became a mother to her two children Chris and Angie. During her life, Teresa had become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and cared for children and elderly in their homes. She loved nature, especially birds and had a love for cooking and dancing. She had a spirit about her all her own, and forever will be remembered by those who loved her.
She is survived by her children Chistopher (Priscilla) LaFountain of Jesup, GA, Angela LaFountain of Shortsville, NY; sisters Brenda (Pete) Leibenguth of Jesup, GA, and Kim Reitano of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Jacob, Lilyan, Cora, and Kelsi, niece, Felicia and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
