William M Dickman

Shortsville - William M Dickman, 84, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

William was born the son of the late Charles and Irene (Kind) Dickman on Sunday, March 14, 1937, in Buffalo, NY. William grew up in the Buffalo area graduating from Clarence High School. He would graduate from Erie Tech College with an associate's degree in Engineering. William was an Engineer for both Xerox and Corning Glass until his retirement in 2012. William was a gifted mechanic who could fix anything. He enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing.

William will be remembered by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice O'Neill Dickman; children Dawn Watson, Melissa (Michael) Baccari, Thomas Carpenter, Amy (David) Peek and Michael (Cori Hannah) Carpenter; grandchildren Brendan, Sara, Matthew, Brian, Michelle, Rachel, Tom Jr., Valerie, Jeremy, Kelly, Colin, Corey, Kaden, Cassidi; several great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Judy) Dickman; sister, Mary (Skip) McElhinny; many nieces and nephews.

William was predeceased by his son-in-law, Bruce Watson.

Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration and remembrance of William's life from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at The Lodge @ Victor Municipal Park, 6680 Paparone Drive, Victor, NY 14564.
